An action  initiated after 18 June 2013 for the liability of an attorney who wrote the deed of sale of a business resulting in a tax adjustment levied in 2001, is time barred as more than five years have elapsed after a law of 17 June 2008, which reduced the limitation period to five years. Another lawyer who drafted previous lease-management documents for the same business is not responsible for the insufficiency of stipulated royalties when the fair value of the business exceeded the legislative threshold of exemption from capital gain tax on the sale of a business.
